In phase three of beauty school, Pivot Point has students participate in a photo shoot--conceptualizing a "story," developing hair, make-up and wardrobe, and then executing the looks to be photographed for our portfolios.
I worked with Michelle, Melissa, Joanne, Mena and Kasia for our Burlesque-themed photo shoot--and we had so much fun! Once we came up with our concepts, we took a field trip to a local craft store for feathers, accessories, rhinestones and fabrics.
We all worked on each other, with Ms. Lisa's help of course.
Mena teased my hair huge, with a few twists, feathers and gems.
I did some flat-barrel pin-curls on Kasia, and gave Mena a big poof with black tulle.
Kasia's friend Diana came in to take our photographs. She was awesome! A REAL professional. I was so impressed with her art direction--love it!
Bree's group chose a circus theme and was HILARIOUSLY adorable. She couldn't stop laughing, it was so cute! I love the balloons in her hair!
Jen's group chose a pin-up girl theme. She looks soooo good!
Here's my group's results! Not bad for a first photo shoot!
