President and CEO of IT&LY Hairfashion, N.A., Richard Zucckero is proud to announce the company’s recent support of The Breast Cancer Foundation’s Annual Gala. This year’s event was held on October 4, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton in the Cayman Islands and raised over $140,000.

The generosity of the Cayman community as well as IT&LY Hairfashion, N.A.’s International Creative Director, Pasquale Caselle’s makeover auction item enabled the organization to continue its funding. As a result, the Cayman Island Cancer Society financial aid and prosthetic programs plus their cancer registry and the breast cancer initiatives of the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens will be the recipients.

The Breast Cancer Foundation was established in September 2009 by its directors Kim Lund, James Bovell and John Broadbent. The Foundation is a charitable organization registered with the Cayman Islands Government. The Foundation was created to provide financial support to several local charities working in the field of breast cancer education and providing aid for treatment costs. Some of these benefiting charities include the Cayman Islands Cancer Society, The Lions Club of Tropical Gardens and Boosom Buddies, who diligently work towards awareness, prevention and the treatment of breast cancer.

IT&LY Hairfashion, N.A. is also known for its charitable contributions for not only The Breast Cancer Foundation but for many other organizations as well, including Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Hospital Canadian Breast Cancer Society and the Cayman Breast Cancer Foundation.
