Heather, a client with virgin blonde hair, is getting married in 3 weeks and decided to go red! Angela Bush (@haircrushh), a stylist at Cutting Loose Salon in Sarasota, Florida, decided to honor her request.

Hmmmm.

Is this such a good idea so close to the wedding?

"If your a confident colorist, absolutely," says Bush. "Also, with a thorough consultation, you know the confidence level of the person in your chair. If it's someone who is confident and ready for that change, why not give it to her? She said how much her husband loved redheads and was excited for something new. Her husband is going to go gaga!"

Here Bush offers the HOW TO:

Step 1: Weave pieces and place on foil. Apply Paul Mitchell SynchroLift blended with 5 volume developer "since she was a beautiful blonde already we didn't need a high developer."

Step 2: Slice low lights with Paul Mitchell The Color using 30 grams 6R, 10 grams 7N with 20 volume developer and 2 orange shots.

Step 3:  Then apply to the rest of the hair:  Paul Mitchell The Color, 30 grams 6RO, 20 grams 6NB, 10 grams 5G  and 5 grams 7 OR with 20 volume developer

Step 4: Process for 35 minutes.

Step 5: At the wash house, emulsify the color into her highlights in order to give them a shot of color and tone.
