MODERN found this transformation on her instagram page and asked for more. Here she shares the details:

"This client was desperate for a change. She wanted short and blonde. So first thing I did was cut her into a pixie. Breaking up any blunt lines with point cutting and slicing was important to keeping the whole look shattered." For color:

 

Formulas:

 

1) Redken UpTo7 lightener with 20 vol

2) Lanza Cream decolorizer with 25 vol and 1/8 olaplex

3) Lanza Cream decolorizer with 35 vol and 1/8 olaplex

4) Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 6-1 with 20 vol

5) Redken Shades EQ 8g 09t, 8g 09v, 16g Clear and 32 g processing solution

 

 

Step 1: Pre-lighten hair to remove most of her stubborn red/copper.

 

Step 2: Starting one inch off scalp, saturate with formula 1 down to the mids and ends.

 

Step 3: Process for 15 minutes and then add formula 1 to the root area.

 

Step 4: Process for antoher 15 minutes, lifting to level 8. Rinse and dry the hair.

 

Step 5: Micro foil vertical sections on both sides and  horizontal sections on top starting at hairline. Use formula 2 on sides and formula 3 on top section, applying top section last.

 

Step 6:  Apply formula 4 on ALL remaining hair, carefully in between foils and all around hairline. Process for 20 minutes.

 

Step 7: Shampoo, rinse and apply formula 5 for up to 3 minutes. Rinse again. Apply Trauma Treatment for 4 minutes then rinse. 

 

Step 8: Style using Kenra thickening mousse as you blowdry. Finish using Lanza Dry Texture spray
