Music phenom Lorde tamed her voluminous, curly locks for the 2015 Golden Globes. Redken/Cutler stylist Jenny Balding points out that Lorde's style is chic enough for the red carpet but classic enough for everyday life.

"Even if you have long, very curly hair, you can still achieve this look with a little know-how," Balding says. She shares how she would recreate Lorde's Golden Globes 'do.

STEP 1: Blowdry smooth and straight with Redken Align 12 Protective Smoothing Lotion.

STEP 2: Create a deep side-part to whichever side suits the face shape best.

STEP 3: Sweep into low ponytail at the nape.

STEP 4: Use a flatiron to create a smooth, sleek finish.

STEP 5: Mist Redken Diamond Oil High Shine Airy Mist to enhance dull, fine textured hair and enhance shine.
