Creating a Smooth Transition: Color Melt and Balayage

Anne Moratto | January 15, 2015 | 12:42 AM

Aileen Nham (@aileeeenhair) shares this re-do story on Instagram:

"My client had asked for an ombre from another hairdresser and that hairdresser cut her top layer short and dyed it dark, then proceeded to do a partial highlight underneath her top layer.  I melted a 5N from the roots and a full balayage obmre to blend everything and give it a smoother transition. Then cut and styled it with Unite Haircare products."
