Moran Gallagher (@morangallagher), a Master Colorist and Head Educator for Mizunyc, really struck gold with this transformation. "This is what I call 'kitchen' color," she says. "Her friend had colored her hair at home. Let's just say it was more then a mess. The hair was severely compromised, too brassy and uneven.  Lucky for me Lily Yip cut her hair first. Then I double processed it. At some point,  probably after the second go round, I decided that the integrity of her hair was most important.  She had originally just wanted platinum. I asked her if she would consider going more rose gold.  She's young and beautiful and could totally pull it off.  She didn't even realize that such a color even existed, so I ran with it."

Here Gallagher offers the HOW TO:

Step 1: Even the  palette using Goldwell Topchic Gloss: 40 ml 10 volume 40 ml hot water 35 ml 10v 5 ml 7RR.

Step 2: Process for ten minutes.  Shampoo with Living Proof Restore.

Step 3: Go over everything with Goldwell Elumen using 30 ml of clear  10 ml sv@10 10 ml na@8 and 5 ml pk@all. (to give it even more of a pinky hue)

Step 4: Process for 15 minutes. Shampoo with Living Proof Restore.

Step 5: Apply Redken Shades EQ 7MV to the root area.

Step 6: Process for ten minutes and then shampoo lightly from the hair.
