Brigid Broderick (@brigidhairmuaxo) an artist at Jean Paul Spa & Salon in Albany, NY caught our eye with this gorgeous dimensional color design. "Although I wish I could take all the credit, my client came to me with gorgeous natural level 8. She had never had her hair colored before and came to me with the idea to brighten her up. She wanted some type of purple or pink throughout her hair and I said lets do both!"

Here Borderick shares the HOW TO (all color Goldwell):

Step 1: Using Gentle Silk Lift with 10 volume with 2 pumps of the Silk Lift Conditioning Serum, place a mohawk of foils, alternating between weaving and slicing, and place "tons" of balayage throughout the rest of her hair.

Step 2: Process for 15 minutes, lifting to to a level 10.

Step 3: Shampoo and apply New Blonde base break starting at her root, and then pulled through and worked it into her ends.

Step 4: Process for 5 minutes and then rinse.

Step 5: Tone with 10P Colorance, processing for 3 minutes.

Step 6. Rough dry and apply Eleumen "Prepare" to bottom half of her hair ("Where we are going for the pink and purple). Isolate the crown.

Step 7: Starting at the nape, alternate small sections of PK@all and VV@all of Eleumen, feathering the pink and purple "in exactly how I would bayalage with lightener so it creates a diffused look instead of a harsh line." Continue to the occipital.

Step 8: Process for 30 minutes. Shampoo and then apply Elumen "Lock" for 5 minutes. Rinse and condition!

This double process all together took me about 2 and a half hours.
