Lighten Up! Balayage and Babylights with Formula

Here's a lovely example of handpainting and lightening up for the warmer weather by  Jen Puelbal Alfara (@chromacrowns) at Serenity Salon in Mission Viejo, CA.

"First session to start going lighter!" Alfara says on Instagram.   "Full head of babylishgts then handpainted the remaining hair.  Love it!"

FORMULA:

Base: Redken Cover Fusion 6nn+7ngb

Babylights: Redkend Blonde Icing + 20 vik'

Balayage (whatever wasn't in foil): Sunlights + 30volume

Gloss: Redken Sahdes EQ

Base: 7nb + 8n

Ends: 8n + 9nb
