Beauty Collection Launches Beauty Curator Program with Cupcakes and Cocktails

Beauty Collection’s new Beauty Curator program is a monthly initiative that features popular online beauty influencers.  These beauty influencers will be guest blogging about their fave beauty trends and products on the Beauty Collection blog as well as featuring Beauty Collection products on their own sites.  Beauty Collection will also have a dedicated area on the sales floor featuring the influencer’s fave products.  A new influencer will be selected each month to offer variety to the program.         

Beauty Collection launched this program with a "Cupcakes and Cocktails" event at their West Hollywood location on February 18.  Dawn McCoy of was announced as the first Beauty Curator.  At the event, guests enjoyed cupcakes and signature cocktails while receiving mini treatments from brands, including Gorgeous Cosmetics, Lorac, Darphin, Jane Iredale, Daily Concepts and Gold Sin.  At the close of the event, Stephanie Lavery of Nail IT! and NailPRO was announced as the Beauty Curator for April.

Industry Mourns Gino Trunzo

MODERN and the industry mourns the loss of Gino Trunzo who died yesterday in Mexico of a heart attack. Trunzo made a name for himself in the nail world as both a manicurist and essie’s Assistant Vice President and was named assistant vice president of business development for Redken and Pureology earlier this year.
