Artistic Flare

L’Oréal Professionnel hosted its fourth annual Artistic Foundation in Austin, Texas, this year with the theme “Curate Beauty.”

The foundation is a three-day event that allows the brand’s top artists to showcase with performers, dancers and models; more than 300 attendees were privy to an opening presentation inspired by Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, London, Stockholm, New York City and Paris.

Workshops allowed participants to get their hands on color, cut and styling skill-building as well as brush up on business best practices.

“Inspiration is global and can be found everywhere,” says Marlene Arce, vice president of L’Oréal Professionnel education. “We encourage all of our artists to constantly search for beauty within their everyday lives and work. We ask them to curate learning to the stylists they educated, enriching the learning experience by drawing from all the things that inspire them.”
