Bekah Fritze (@deucedeuce) from DeMaj Salon (@demajsalon), Lafayette, Colorado, was presented with a project. "This client had come in after a long time family friend had been doing her hair for years," says Fritze. "She said that she had wanted some balayage higher towards her roots. She then proceeded to tell me that it was done in foils (which is NOT balayage) and was left under the dryer for almost 45 minutes! It was orange and breaking off. She toned it to have at least a more yellowish blonde. The hair was just so damaged we had to cut a lot off (which she ultimately requested) and proceeded with the color. She was happy to have healthy hair again that she could brush through without a ton falling out."

Here Fritze shares the how to which took 3 hours to complete:

-First fill the blonde with Wella Color Touch 9/3 & 6/4.

- Process to reach a level five. Shampoo and rough dry.

-Then apply Color Touch 5/75 with 1.9% in 1/2 inch sections from root to end.

-Process for 45 minutes. Shampoo and condition.
