This client wanted to try deeper roots and a darker red! According to Colorist Shonda Broadus (@ShondaBroadus) this client was previously a natural redhead with 2 months of old color in her hair. Broadus came up with the process below to add some dimension within her color.
“I applied Schwarzkopf 4-0, 0-88, 0-99 and 20 volume on her new growth and pulled it down about 2 inches. I then went through picked a few areas that I wanted to pop and applied Schwarzkopf Professional's L-77 and 40 volume isolated by EMBEE MECHE papers. On the remaining hair, I applied Fanola 6-6 and 10 volume and then let the hair process for 30 minutes.”
