Affinage Takes on America
With Tracey’s unique and creative techniques Affinage Meche’s were used for panels of color and inspired artistry. A Pixel technique allowed her to see, through the clear panels, the “dib dab” technique of placing color in desired areas for a one of a kind array of pixelated colors in the hair.Photo 1 of 3
Models were cut and styled with Affinage Styling line of products including Glazer, a great cutting aid to close down the cuticle before cutting; Salt Spray, for natural volume and texture for easy styling; Root Booster, for volume from the root for mega hold; and Power Hairspray for soft to firm finishing hold to any style.Photo 2 of 3
Tracey Devine Smith, global ambassador for Affinage Salon Professional, toured the US for a week-long educational road show in three states. Beginning June 8 in New Orleans, she traveled to Southern California on June 10 before wrapping in Virginia on June 15.
"The 2015 road show was driven by demand and popularity,” said Smith. “We hoped to inspire and bring a new vibe to customers old and new while showcasing what's up-and-coming and relevant for hairdressers.” Smith worked with Affinage’s American distributors and the home office in England to devise the tour. And as Affinage adds new products, colors and line extensions in the coming months, the road show was an ideal way to showcase her talents and the brand’s innovative product selection.
