Ashley Hubbard (@redhotstylist) owner of Save Your Scissors Salon, Sandy Hook, CT, says new client Jess was referred by a friend knowing Jess needed some help with her color. "She came in with an ombre that needed to be corrected. Jess likes to change her hair often. Thankfully we always stay stocked with B3 Bond Builders so changing hair and keeping it healthy is a possibility."

When Jess came in for her 6 week ombre check up, Hubbard was able to see how the correction had taken, how it was oxidizing and holding up. "She showed me pictures of a very icy-white-silver blonde in a long textured bob. We set that as a goal and began our day at 10 am, hoping to achieve something close to that in one visit with the understanding that it may take another visit or two to achieve the exact target color. We finished around 7 pm. The results were an icy pale dimensional blonde... almost the exact target color! Jess will be coming back next week for an EVO Fabuloso Temptress shine treatment and another glaze/toner! We were both extremely happy with the results after just one day."

Here Hubbard shares the HOW TO:

Step 1: Apply Joico Creme Lightener, blended with B3 Bond Builder, to the root and darker areas in the mid shaft. Lift to a light pale yellow level 8/9.

Step 2: Foil the hair with Schwarzkopf BlondMe lightener blended with B3.  Cover the pale yellow and dust onto the previoulsy lightened pieces to remove any discoloration and banding. Process to desired lift.

Step 3: Tone with Wella T14 blended with B3. Process for 10 minutes and then rinse, shampoo and condition the hair.
