Heather Yacenda (@heatheryacendahair), owner of Studio H Salon, Wichita, KS, wowed us with this transformation and we had to know more. "My client started out with 6 week old Pravana Magenta and Pravana Purple Vivids," she says. "She is going to be in a wedding and wanted to transform into a blonde!" No problem for this color and balayage expert.

Here she shares the details:

To remove VIVIDS: Apply Pravana 000 (lightening booster) mixed with 30 volume developer and add Olaplex. Process for 10 minutes. Shampoo, apply Olaplex #2 and blow dry straight.

To go Blonde:

Step 1: Apply babylights throughout using Paul Mitchell Sycnhro Lift lightener with 30 volume developer and Olaplex.

Step 2: Balayage between foils to break up the base and give more lightness around her face and on the ends of her hair. Balayage formula: Paul Mitchell Synchro Lift lightener with 40 volume developer and Olaplex.

Step 3: Process for 25 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.

Step 4: Tone with Pravana 902 with 10 volume developer and process for 10 minutes. After processing, rinse and continue with Olaplex #2.
