A DREAM COME TRUE: The "Do Whatever You Want" Model!

Lori Panarello (@rello4), KMS California Global Style Council Team Member and owner of I.D. Salon, Woodbury, NY, transformed her model on stage for a hair show, earning deserved applause and kudos from the crowd. "She was a last minute replacement model and said 'I am ready for a change, do whatever you want!' It was a dream come true."

While cutting on stage, Panarello asked the audience for advice "Should I cut it off or not?" referring to the length at the fringe. "The overwhleming reaction was to keep it," adds Panarello. "So I kept it...and so did the model! She loved it."

Cut first: A simple cut, round layers, 90 degrees following the head shape. All the softness along the perimeter and the longer fringe were designed with a razor.

COLOR HOW TO (no prelifting necessary, utilizing her existing highlghts):

Step 1: Apply in a virgin application Goldwell Topchic equal parts 7KR and 6KG with 20 volume.

Step 2: Process for 40 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.

Step 3: Glaze (for shine) with Clear Elumen.

Step 4: Process for 15 minutes and then rinse.

Step 5: Finish with KMS California Hair Free Shape Quick Blow Dry (on damp hair) and Free Shape 2-in-1 Styling + Finishing.
