Styling duo Dona Dalipi (@dona_dalipi) and Rachel Boyd (@rachel.b1011) at Safie Salon and Day Spa in Massapequa, New York turned their client's damaged, brassy hair into a healthy, multidimensional gold and auburn look.

Dona and Rachel chose these hues in order to accentuate the client's green eyes.

STEP 1: The client’s hair was originally a violet toned color that oxidized to a brassy hue. Base was applied with Koleston Perfect, .45 4/0, .45 5/0, .10 6/45 10 volume. Painted a few pieces of what was on her roots in areas. Processed for 25 minutes.
STEP 2: Washed her and removed all excess water from her hair.
STEP 3: Painted her whole head, especially focused in the front/around her face with Blondor Freelights 30 volume. Placed under the dryer for 15 minutes.
STEP 4: After process, client was washed and glazed with Illumina 9/60 for 12 minutes.
STEP 5: Styled hair providing the beach wave effect.
