COLOR CORRECTION: Brass to Ash

Maggie Mulhern | August 31, 2015 | 10:52 AM

Chrissy Rasmussen (@hairby_chrissy) owner of Habit Salon in Gilbert, Arizona, has a wonderful Instagram page filled with lots of pretty, long blonde hair. When we saw this transformation we had to know more. "This first time client came with a bumped base which turned to brass with yellow ends," she says. "She was looking to brighten and go a bit ashier."

Here Rasmussen shares the HOW TO:

Step 1: Using Goldwell Oxycur with 30 volume and Olaplex, apply babylights throughout the hair.  (NOTE: Tease out the ends for a brighter finish.)

Step 2:  In between foils apply Colorance 7N to cover orange and blend the root.  Process for 15 minutes.

Step 3: At the bowl tap out her root with Colorance 7N and on the ends apply 10P Colorance. Process for 15 minutes.
