TRANSFORMATION: Minimizing The Line of Demarcation
Trish O'Connor (@trish_oco) of Panther City Salon, Fort Worth, Texas, was thrilled with the opportunity presented by her client. “She was so frustrated with having such a harsh line of demarkation during her grow out period,” says O’Connor. "A well blended base shading can fix that!”
Here she shares how she formulated to soften the regrowth:
Step 1: Apply Wella KP 6/07 + 10 volume (for a more opaque coverage) as a routine base touch up using a four quadrant sectioning.
Step 2: Take diagonal back sections and over-direct the hair to feather the color on top as well as underneath for perfect blending.
Step 3: Process for 25 minutes. Shampoo with Sebastian Volupt as the starting point for her movement filled look.
Step 4: Tone with Wella Ilummina 9/60 + 1.9 volume for roughly 10 minutes. Shampoo with a cocktail of Sebastian Volupt and Penetrait conditioners. Then apply Nioxin Bodifying Foam as well as Sebastian's Trilliant Heat Protectant.
"My client left feeling revitalized and beautiful."
