Alisha Jared (@alishajaredhairartistry) from Siren Salon in Vancouver, WA.  says "Years of the same blonde on top, red underneath, called for a big change for my client. She's a busy mom who doesn't want to be a slave to the chair. We didn't have time to lighten out her red in this session, but we neutralized it as best we could and will continue to address that another time."

Here she shares the HOW TO:

Formula A: (1:2 ratio) Joico Chrome N6 = Joico Chrome A5 + Joico Chrome Activator

Formula B: (1:2 ratio) Joico Chrome N6 = Joico Chrome B6 + Joico Chrome Activator

Formula C: (1:2 ratio) Joico Chrome N9 = Joico Chrome B9 + Joico Chrome Activator

STEP 1:  Section blonde (top) from red (bottom).  Apply Formula A over entire underneath section to neutralize red.  Cover with Embee Meche to prevent bleeding.

STEP 2: Apply Formula B to root in top section and bring down to desired depth.  Continue throughout entire top section.  Comb through with wide tooth comb.

STEP 3: Taking 1/2"-1" subsections throughout top, continue to micro-weave or "baby light" and paint each section at varying depths with remainder of Formula B.  Isolate each highlighted section with Embee Meche.

STEP 4: Process at room temperature for 25 minutes. Rinse and towel dry.

STEP 5:  Apply Formula C to from roots to ends to even out remaining blonde. Process according to manufacturers instructions. Rinse, shampoo and condition with Davines Minu.
