Christie Mendoza (@salonlavishcovina),  a senior stylist at Salon Lavish Covina, Covina, California, says she "loves experimenting with Pravana Vivids both on myself and my clients! For this transformation, Mendoza shares that her fiirst time client came into the salon with a grown out ombré  "and she tried to place pink on her ends at home."

Here she shares the fix:

STEP 1: Apply Redken 4Rv + violet Hi-Fusion  with 20 volume from regrowth through zone 2 ("where she had the dark red base.")

STEP 2: Fill the pink ends with Redken Shades EQ 3V and 3Rv & Redken Shades cream 4V & processing solution.

STEP 3: Process for 25 minutes. Rinse and rough dry to 80%.

STEP 4: From roots to ends apply Pravana Vivids: 1oz red, 3/4 oz green, 3/4 oz purple and a squirt of the new black for an added smokey look.
