Jen Planck is a sought after motivational guest speaker and artist in the beauty industry. She brings her unique brand of “real world” salon experience to her presentations in an attempt to change lives. She’s a “can’t miss” trainer and motivator, and has held high-level positions such as Artistic Director for the 150+ employee, multi-location and independently owned, Glitz Salon, and is a featured presenter at SalonCentric shows.

Jen was recruited by Wella/Sebastian as a platform artist and training manager. Her career has included exclusive business training contracts with Scott Missad at The Agility Group, Strictly Business Training forums and President of Jen Planck Training. She is a passionate industry advocate.

In this how-to, Planck and Lacey Griffiths show how to create a fun, and frothy upstyle for your client that utilizes twisting and scrunching. Planck's inspiration for this "Martini Updo" stemmed from movies - for this particular style, she drew inspiration from The Fifth Element and Star Wars.
