Nicole DeStefano (@nicole_does_beauty) has been getting her client lighter and lighter. This image is the result of her third visit. De Stefano worked with Blondor by Wella Professionals and 20 volume plus Olaplex to achieve this ultra-light finish, and toned with Matrix.

STEPS and FORMULA

  • I applied the Blondor directly to her scalp in four quadrants and covered all of the quadrants and hairline with foils. I allowed it to process until she reached a level 10.
  • At the shampoo bowl I pulled Blondor through the mid lengths and ends. Then, I processed the hair for approximately 5 minutes.
  • I applied the toner formula:
    • Matrix 20g SP-A + 20g 10P + 20 g Clear + 1.9% developer

"We used Joico Intensity in Pink with Clear to create a soft ribbon of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness," DeStefano says. To style, she did a reverse French braid, pulling it apart for softer texture.
