Formula How-To: Sunkissed Sombre by Joico

Victoria Wurdinger | October 28, 2015 | 2:03 PM

A versatile and practical color for many women, but unlike harsh ombre, sombre provides soft, beautiful, dimensional color with highlights handpainted the way the sun naturally kisses and lightens color.

FORMULAS & APPLICATION:

Natural level 4

1. Mix Joico UHLMA (Ultra High Lift Matte Ash) with 30-volume developer in amount desired. Create hand-painted highlights to work with the cut.

2. Mix Joico Crème Lightener with 10-volume developer and paint onto some of the ends. Process as desired, shampoo and rinse.

3. Mix Joico Vero K-PAK Chrome, ¾ oz Clear + ¼ oz N8 and apply all over as a fi nal glaze. Process and rinse.
