The Affinage U.S. education team, led by national education manager Catie Hansen, traveled from all over the country to be in San Diego on Nov. 16-17 for its annual training. Designed to promote team building, the two-day event emphasized new trends and techniques, educator training, product overview and class offerings for 2016 to the nine-person team.

The first day focused on how to increase sales through education, new product updates, technical training and team building while the second day provided a more hands-on platform for the educators with technique and trends.

According to Hansen, 2016 will show more of what Affinage has to offer in education that focuses on the hairdresser. “Our focus has always been about giving hairdressers a multitude of creative techniques with an emphasis on teaching them how to think outside the box all the while maintaining the integrity of the hair. I was very proud and excited to see the growth from all of our educators from last year to this year. They are so very talented and have their own unique flare to add to the program.”

New for 2016 is the fundamental styling classes that will give a full introduction to hairdressers on the new technologically advanced Kitoko Arte styling line that is being launched at the beginning of the year. It will highlight the unique attributes of the products.
