Megan Hollinger (@Hollibeauty) of Chicago, IL, shares the HOW TO for this brassy blonde to a rich, yet cool bronde color melt. "She literally experimented with 50 shades of blonde the past 7 months or so, whether it was cool, warm, base breaking, balayage, babylights, or even a slight rose gold hue, she had it all," says Hollinger. "We decided on a deeper, enriched natural base color for a low maintenance routine in the colder months."

STEP 1: To the base apply Redken Color Gels 1/2 5Gb and 1/2 5NG with 10 volume. Drag out between an inch to two depending on the desired vision for the area finished look and to give a "rooty" look.

STEP 2: Melt to the ends using Redken Flash Lift with 20 volume "to brighten up some of her old brassy and yellow blonde". Apply in a balayage technique, painting over the existing shade in some areas. Process for 20 minutes.

STEP 3: Rinse hair with cool water to prevent any bleeding onto the slightly porous blonde ends. Once completely rinsed, shampoo with Redken Color Extend Shampoo. Rinse and towel dry.

STEP 4: Tone with Shades EQ Cream 9NA and a splash of 9V. Process for the full 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
