Emma Göttwald of Royals Hair in Sydney Australia presents her latest collection - Toyko.

Tokyo street fashion, especially the Harajuku district in Shibuya, Tokyo heavily influenced Göttwald's collection, beginning with an image of a Japanese tattoo Emma found on the internet.

After sifting through an endless spiral of Japanese images, Göttwald was intrigued by images of the Harajuku girls and boys, instantly mesmerised by the stylish and colorful style. The style is so distinct, unique and recognizable even though it includes so many elements often all mixed together with both Eastern and Western influences.

While conceptualizing the latest collection for Olivia Garden, session stylist Steve Elias was inspired by the brand’s name. “It’s too simplistic to say, ‘Let me create a garden-inspired collection because your brand is called Olivia Garden,’” Elias says. “Using Olivia Garden tools for the last three years on collections and editorial work has allowed me to push my creative work further.”
