Vanilla is a term used in our salon meaning it's cool but it still looks creamy and opaque, and with less light reflection the cuticle appears supple. Together we agreed on vanilla."

Here Horter shares the how-to:

Starting level : 8 home color

Step 1 : From off scalp to ends apply Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener with PM 10vol Cream Developer.

Step 2 : To the new growth apply Paul Mitchell SynchroLift Lightener with PM 10vol Cream Developer.

Step 3: Process both Step 1 and 2 simultaneously for 35 minutes or until hair is lifted beyond a level 10. Shampoo with Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2.

Step 4 : Apply Paul Mitchell Colorxg UTV with PM 10vol cream Developer to damp hair. Process for 20 minutes. Shampoo with PM Forever Blonde Shampoo.

Step 5 : Apply from scalp to ends Paul Mitchell Inkworks 2 oz of white with a dot of Inkworks purple. Process for 15 minutes. Finish with Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Conditioner and  Forever Blonde Dramatic repair Spray.
