Brent Basore (@hair_by_brentandcarlyn) of the Sherry Mesa, Palm Desert, California, says regular client Jackie is known for her pixie platinum look. "She wanted to try the pastel hair trend without compromising her platinum blonde. We decided to stay in the purple violet family because it would fade to an icy blonde. We gave the look some dimension by giving her a darker root so that she gets to try the lived in trend as well as the vivid trend."

Here Basore shares the formula.

Formula 1: Wella Blondor all over with 30 volume to lift to level 10 (30 minutes).

Formula 2: To the root area apply Pravana pastel lavender with 3 or 4 drops of Pravana vivid violet. Do not dilute. 

Formula 3: To the mid lengths and ends apply Pravana pastel lavender.

Process for 20 minutes. Rinse with color water.
