Color Correction for a Cool, Beautiful Blonde

Anne Moratto | June 24, 2016 | 1:13 PM

Alisha Basham (@frivolousfawn), an award-winning artist in Eugene, OR, working out of London Hair Studios, took her client from brassy to icy blonde.

"This was a late-night color correction and worth every minute."

Basham used four different lightener formulas to even out the "old brassy color" and then toned using Wella Illumina.

To Tone:

Illumina 10/1 + 9/60

From Foiled and Damaged To Luscious Red

Maggie Mulhern | October 1, 2017

"This client had been doing full foils for years, and her hair showed it," says Tiffinie Morton (@hairbytiffinie). "We had been working on getting her hair healthier and decided to try something new. She initially wanted to go to a warm level 5 but I talked her into trying this to ease her into being darker since she had been blonde for so long." Details here.
