This look is as cool as ice, ice baby.

Karen Cunningham, national artist for KMS California, was inspired to create a gorgeous, yet unexpected look, with shorter hair. She created this choppy, textured bob, called Fierce Freeze.

In order to achieve choppy texture, Cunningham actually cut it with scissors after it was styled. She began by washing the wig with HAIRPLAY texture shampoo, drying it upside down. Then, she used ADDVOLUME body build detangler and set random pieces on the interior using a rick rack technique. A rick rack technique involves using a hair pin and wrapping a piece of hair around it in a figure-8 motion.

To set hair, Cunningham poured boiling water over the wig and let it dry. Once dry, she brushed hair upside down. Then, once securing the wig on the model, Cunningham used clippers to cut it into a bob shape, leaving lots of choppy bits for texture. She used HAIRPLAY playable texture to mold into place.
