"This client was an all-over level 5 to begin with. I did a full balayage highlight keeping a little bit of a root with her natural hair just so it wouldn't be high maintenance," Kline says. "I then washed and blow dried a bit and toned everything with Matrix 8rc and 7r equal parts."
Next, she balayaged with Matrix Vlight lightener with 20-volume developer and toned with Matrix Sync demipermanent and 10 volume.
