“I’m Ruth Roche, and I’m a hairdresser,” says Ruth Roche as she launches her new site: ruthroche.com.

“I want to share information that’s useful, helpful and easy to understand -- ideas that both stylists and clients can implement easily,” Roche explains. “The site is clean, simple and easy-to-navigate with relevant video-based content and images that express concepts immediately, because let’s face it, most of us would rather watch a video to learn something than read copy -- it’s so much faster and more exciting.” The site, launched this month, currently features five videos (including The Kate Moss Cut, HOW TO Make a Sexy Faux Bob and Red Carpet Waves), and Roche plans to add a new look at least once each month.

For those of you who don't know Roche, she has successfully developed herself in the four cornerstones of the industry: celebrity, salon owner, educator and editorial stylist -- a testament to her mentor, Trevor Sorbie, who taught her to reinvent herself to keep her brand fresh and exciting. The new website plays an integral part in reinventing by sharing education in an innovative way that’s easy to understand. It also serves as an access hub to Roche’s social media via access icons and feeds from Instagram, Twitter and blogs at the bottom of each page.

In this short video, Roche offers a demo and welcomes MODERN's Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern in to the site. Check it out.
