Dwight Miller to Receive NAHA Lifetime Achievement Award

This year, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is honoring Dwight Miller, a widely acclaimed World Master Hairdesigner and industry leader, with their North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) Lifetime Achievement Award which recognizes outstanding contributions to the hair and beauty industry and is limited to licensed salon professionals.  Miller has spent fifty years influencing industry changes in hair fashion and technique through his work with companies that include  Marinello-Comer, Lapin’s, Redken, Pivot Point, Vidal Sassoon, Zotos, Matrix, American Crew, John Freida and others.

MODERN and the industry mourns the loss of Gino Trunzo who died yesterday in Mexico of a heart attack. Trunzo made a name for himself in the nail world as both a manicurist and essie’s Assistant Vice President and was named assistant vice president of business development for Redken and Pureology earlier this year.
