This season, L'Oréal Professionnel unveils  three new looks inspired by the latest on the runways and on the street style scene. Created by professionals, these looks won’t only make a statement – they’ll make heads turn.

PINK SPLASHLIGHT – WORN BY POPPY DELEVIGNE

HOW-TO: Three Spring It Girl Looks

The It Look: This edgy twist on the popular ombré hair color effect plays up this season's hottest color: pink. "Poppy is such a girl of the times, I wanted to create something ultra-modern and even a bit avant-garde,” says Turner. The placement of a striking horizontal band of pink in the mid-length of the hair is unexpected and eye-catching; yet, the technique of softly diffusing the color on the lower edges softens the effect, making it look effortlessly chic much like Poppy herself.

SECTIONING: 1.Create a horseshoe shaped section and secure with clips then secure all hair above and below the horseshoe section

COLOR APPLICATION: 2. Pre-lighten the mid-lengths of the horseshoe shaped section to pale yellow underlying pigment 3. Apply INOA ODS2 9.13/9BG to all hair above and below the horseshoe to the re-growth area, and ends of the hair contained within the horseshoe section 4. Mix and apply 10g of INOA ODS2 Clear + 1g of INOA ODS2 6.66/6RR to the mid-lengths of the hair contained in the horseshoe section. Smudge colors together where they meet to create a diffused line of demarcation 5. Isolate the horseshoe section with Sweet’ Méches 6. Development time: 35 minutes

THE CUT: • Point cut a long, one-length baseline • Incorporate face framing graduation to create textured layers around the face

THE STYLE: • Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Mousse Volupté • Blow-dry with a medium or large round brush to create medium to large barrel curls • Alternate the direction of the brush to create a soft undone feel then gently loosen the curls • Finish the look with L’Oréal Professionnel Infinium 4 hairspray

MOCHA BLONDE PIXIE – WORN BY PIXIE GELDOF

HOW-TO: Three Spring It Girl Looks

The It Look: The cut that launched the careers of style icons Mia Farrow, Twiggy, and Jean Seberg returns this season with a whole new dimension. This Mocha Blonde Pixie is the perfect combination of edge and softness, exemplifying L’Oréal Professionnel's new cutting and texturizing technique that creates subtle changes in hair length within the overall look. Easy to maintain, the cut allows you to change the style in an instant, moving from a tousled texture to a sleek androgynous look. The mocha blonde L’Oréal Professionnel INOA shade adds the perfect root shadow for added dimension and sophisticated edge.

SECTIONING: 7. Use a profile parting and an ear to ear radial parting to create 4 sections

COLOR APPLICATION: 8. Pre-lighten the hair to yellow underlying pigment 9. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Majirel 8.8/8M (Alt.: INOA ODS2 7.8/7M) to the first inch of the hair at the re-growth area 10. SIDE-SWEPT RED OMBRE – WORN BY CHEN RAN

HOW-TO: Three Spring It Girl Looks

The It Look: Red is mesmerizing, exciting and just a little bit dangerous, which is why it continues to inspire today's top designers. Red dominated the Spring/Summer 2014 catwalks, morphing from retro patent at Dolce & Gabbana, to nostalgic and provocative leather at Anthony Vaccarello. For this Side-Swept Ombré It Look, a vibrant mix of L’Oréal Professionnel INOA red hues were applied primarily through the ends, rejuvenating the traditional ombré. The asymmetrical side-sweep, is one of this season’s hottest hairstyles, perfectly plays up the drama of the red ombré. This cutting-edge technique gives dark hair a stunning and striking intensity, while adding a playful vibe

COLOR APPLICATION: 12. Use 1/8 horizontal subsections, with 1Ž2 spacing on the heavy side of the natural part 13. Apply INOA ODS2 5.60/5RRR (Alternative: Majirel 5.60/5RRR) to the ends of each section 14. Apply INOA ODS2 4.15/4BRv (Alternative: Majirel 4.15/4BRv) to the re-growth area and mid lengths of each subsection 15. Smudge colors together where they meet, as to create a diffused line of demarcation. Isolate each subsection with Sweet’ Mèches 16. Apply INOA ODS2 4.15/4BRv (Alternative: Majirel 4.15/4BRv) globally to the remaining hair, and between the isolated subsections 17. Development time: 35 minutes.

THE CUT: • Use slightly diagonal forward partings to create a bob line with a gradual increase in lengths towards the face • Use deep point cutting to create a layered interior

THE STYLE: • Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Gelée Cashmere to the hair • Create a 3 inch diagonal section, on the weak side of the natural parting, extending from the front hairline down to the nape and create an invisible cornrow braid, secure at the nape, hidden underneath the overlying hair • Blow-dry the remaining hair with a vent brush to create a smooth but naturally disheveled look • Use L’Oréal Professionnel Lift Extrême at the root area to create additional lift and volume • Enhance texture and create separation with L’Oréal Professionnel Lumi Contrôle • Finish with L’Oréal Professionnel Infinium 4 hairspray
