Technology in the Salon Industry with Joe Santy from Obliphica

Elizabeth Jakaitis | July 9, 2014 | 9:07 AM

WE ASKED INDUSTRY LEADERS TO TALK ABOUT WHAT TECHNOLOGICAL AND INDUSTRY TRENDS THEY SEE ON THE HORIZON AND HOW THEY THINK THESE CHANGES AND INNOVATIONS WILL SHAPE OUR WAY OF DOING BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE.

Technology in the Salon Industry with Joe Santy from Obliphica

“Technology from an electronics and social media perspective has been influencing our industry daily. Ingredient Technology, at the grassroots level of what our industry is all about, cultivating beauty through healthy hair is equally as influential. Thanks to advances in chemical engineering, new processes, and cost effective harvesting of natural ingredients, the quality and performance of modern ingredients has been taken to the next level. My favorite, the Seaberry, has been used in its natural state for centuries for its restorative and rejuvenating properties with a wide range of applications and modern scientific research to back up its miraculous properties and benefits on the health of the hair, skin and entire body. Today, Obliphica Professional hair care has harnessed the Seaberry’s transformative properties, creating products that yield immediate results for scalp and hair with the very first use. With a healthier scalp, hair grows stronger, shinier and more resilient, with cumulative benefits with every subsequent use. Now that’s technology that makes the salon owner and hairdresser more productive—with happier clients and greater profits—with every use, as well!
