Technology in the Salon Industry: Stephanie Jennings, MINDBODY

Anne Moratto | July 7, 2014 | 12:05 PM

WE ASKED INDUSTRY LEADERS TO TALK ABOUT WHAT TECHNOLOGICAL AND INDUSTRY TRENDS THEY SEE ON THE HORIZON AND HOW THEY THINK THESE CHANGES AND INNOVATIONS WILL SHAPE OUR WAY OF DOING BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE.

Technology in the Salon Industry: Stephanie Jennings, MINDBODY

“For salon business owners and stylists, mobile management will transform the way the salon is run, and the ways in which stylist-client interactions transpire. Mobile business management apps, like MINDBODY Express, remove the need for a front desk completely. Owners and staff can manage on-the-go, empowering them with flexibility. They can check clients in, swipe credit cards, process payments and run reports, all from their phone, in what’s called the customer ‘comfort zone’- all while the client is still in the chair.”

--Stephanie Jennings, senior vice president of sales, MINDBODY
