Lauren Quick | May 13, 2014 | 8:07 AM

Reese Witherspoon's shockingly—and awesomely—pink dress called for a chic 'do at the 2014 Met Ball. Celebrity Stylist Renato Campora created an old-fashion faux bob to accentuate Witherspoon's defined cheekbones. Witherspoon asked for simple-yet-elegant without much hair in her face so the focus was on the dress.

MET BALL 2014: Reese Witherspoon Faux Bob How-ToGET THE LOOK

STEP 1: Apply a dime-sized amount of Matrix Total Results Heat Resist Blow Out Tamer throughout damp hair to give it shape and body. This will add a silky, protective layer to the hair before blow-drying.

STEP 2: Spray Matrix Biolage VOLUMEBLOOM Full-Lift Volumizer Spray to the ends to add bounce. The spray will create long-lasting volume.

STEP 3: Blow dry hair with a round brush to create volume from root to end.

STEP 4: Flat-iron sections around the face and throughout the shaft to refine and smooth the look.

STEP 5: Run a small amount of Matrix Biolage SMOOTHPROOF Serum throughout the hair to remove frizz and flyaways.

STEP 6: Use a 1 1/2-inch barrel and curl the ends inward. Brush them out afterward.

STEP 7: Finish the look by spritzing Matrix Biolage Styling Complete Control Hairpsray all over to secure the bob.
