Graffiti artist Toofly is inspired by hair and make up, everything beauty. She is all about GIRL POWER, featuring women with flowy hair and strong make up in all of her creations...creations that have been seen around the world not only on walls, but in books, magazines, on television and equally important, in art exhibits. (It is so worth it to go to her site: to see the art and learn more about her.) "It's all about New York Style," she says. "We're into how we look and going out with our friends. it's all about color and looking great. It's become my trademark. I always try to give a little flavor and attitude with beauty." Hmmmm: great tip!

MODERN's Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern got a chance to chat with the international superstar at a Clairol launch held at the new Wella World Studio NYC. Toofly created a mural for the launch of the Flare Collection and then invited the editors in attendance to add their own signatures to the Sally Beauty inspired mural. It was fun for all to add graffiti to HER art!

Check out this short video to learn more about Toofly and her relationship to beauty.
