The Australia Hair Expo 2014 was held on June 7-9 in Sydney and included 10 acts hosted by Tabatha Coffey, who is arguably Australia's best-known hairdresser.
Creative team members from Pivot Point, L'Oreal, Goldwell, Schwarzkopf and more graced the stage, and Aveda sponsored the event and featured its global superstar, Antoinette Beenders.
MODERN's Director of Education and multiple-year NAHA judge Jamie Carroll was at the expo and weighed in on the event. "After many years of capturing stage action at shows in London, Chicago and Orlando to name a few, it always impresses me how hairdressers keep raising the bar," Carroll says.
The event pulled in more than 1,200 attendees and featured many avant garde and haute couture looks fueled by creativity and new ideas. See some highlights below!
