FORMULA: Neon Peacock

Maggie Mulhern | October 26, 2016 | 11:43 AM

Amber Mahaffey (@coloroutsidethelineshs), Surfside Beach, SC, is exploring (obviously successfully!) the new neon shades and shares the formula for her latest neon peacock:

-Apply Redken Flash Lift blended with 30 volume developer and Olaplex. Process 45 minutes under cap to hold heat. Rinse.

-Tone roots with Redken Shades EQ 9v for 3 minutes. Rinse and apply Olaplex #2. Blow dry.

-Mix 1 tube Pravana Wild Orchid and 1 tube Amythest and apply to the root. Drag down to mids and apply in about 6 foils around the face and in back.

-Mix new Kenra Neons Blue in one bowl and Purple in a second. Melt these shades down on remaining hair. Process for 30 minutes.

-Rinse in cold water and condition only.
