Goldwell Offers Customized Education to Salons and Stylists

What education and resources can a salon or solo artist expect to receive immediately, and then over the first six months, after switching to or adding Goldwell’s color line?

We have a curriculum and continuing education plan customized for each salon for conversion. It is built to suit the salon’s need to deliver an exceptional luxury color service for the client. If it is a solo stylist, we have, and collective programs all around the country to use as a learning resource, not to mention our beautiful academies.

What is your most popular color education class or experience?

At the academies, our most popular class is the Mastercolorist series of programs that feature four levels of certification. Colorists can continue to build their color expertise level by level to achieve the most sophisticated educational experience.

What contests or competitions does Goldwell have that salons or colorists can participate in?

We have our Color Zoom competition yearly, recognizing the top three color entrants in one of three categories—New Talent, Creative Color and Partner. The gold-medal winners in the U.S. compete internationally with the gold-medal winners from other countries in a live color competition. Last year, the U.S. took home the gold internationally in two categories. To get involved, each January we release the inspiration collection for Color Zoom and entrants create their own looks and submit. For more information visit

What color classes does Goldwell offer at its advanced academies?

We have the Goldwell KMS Academies all over the world. In North America, we have New York, Santa Monica and Toronto. Besides Mastercolorist, in NYC we have Free Form Hair Painting. This seminar will help push creative boundaries and teach skills that will dazzle your color-seeking clients. All about hair painting, this two-day program will show you techniques for creating both subtle color flourishes and the most progressive fashion looks. Fundamental color painting skills, hot trends and pitfalls to avoid—you’ll get all the ins and outs of free form hair color—a superb way to expand your creative portfolio and increase revenue.

What business-building education does Goldwell offer salons?
