Divide hair in two sections—one behind the ears and one in front. Create a pony at the nape with the back section, then build a loose bun. Anchor front section (not too tight) to base bun using Oribe Superfine Hairspray and bobby pins.

Curl in alternating left and right vertical sections for classic Victoria’s Secret beach waves, then pin a small, lightly backcombed section into a Bardot-inspired bump.

Michael Angelo, owner of Michael Angelo’s Wonderland Beauty Parlor in New York, prepped for this third round of styling models for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by styling and shooting his own Beachwaver-fueled photoshoot.

“I wanted to experiment with alternate ways to use my Beachwaver 1.25 to create volume, texture and, of course, iconic beach waves,” he says.

Angelo prepped hair with Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion and finished by layering Dry Texture Spray near the root and Airstyle Flexible Finishing Cream on ends for separation and shine.
