Nadina Ioana (@nadina_ioana) is a makeup artist from Spain with a huge social presence and an audience that loves her YouTube tutorials and glamorous Instagram posts. In this very moving how-to, she applies makeup and hair on her mother who is undergoing chemotherapy. We watch as her Mother's face becomes more relaxed and she begins to smile. Ioana offers these tips and watch-outs for working with a chemo patient.
"It's very important to properly prepare the skin before doing the makeup, putting the right products on (moisturizing cream and serum for sensitive and dry skin type)," says Ioana. "It's also important to do symmetrical brows, which have fit with the client's face, and to be careful in the application of the eyelashes, due to the client won't have any natural eyelashes at all, so they can be uncomfortable if they're not applied correctly."
