For music’s biggest night, celebrity stylist and Rihanna’s go-to, Yusef, wanted to create a laid back look for the singer because she was not performing that night. Yusef washed hair with Biolage R.A.W. Nourish Shampoo and followed with the line’s Re-Hydrate Mask. He then applied Matrix Style Link Volume builder Mousse to damp hair and blow dried using a diffuser to maintain natural texture, then going over waves with a curling wand to enhance and perfect them. Yusef flat ironed at the roots, adding Matrix Style Link Airy Builder Dry Texturizing foam for a piecey look and added texture, and finished with Matrix Style Link Volume Fixer Hairspray.

Warm mocha color, slicked-back styles, and sexy updos are just some of our favorite looks that rocked the red carpet this award season. From the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, to the Grammys, to the Golden Globes, recreate some of award season's best styles with these how-tos.
