Step 4: Create a center part and section off from ear-to-ear radial parting and clip out of the way to braid later.  Take 1 ¼ inch sections and twist around a 1 ¼ inch curling iron in opposite directions, spraying each section with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong.

Step 5: Unclip the front two sections and generously spray Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray to give instant grip and grit, making the braids easier to manage and mold into a braid.

Step 6: Create two parallel Dutch braids on each side starting from the center part at a slight angle directing back. Combine all four braids into a low half pony tail using a clear elastic band.

Step 7: Spray the waves in the back with Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray to give separation and volume.

Step 8: Finish with a light mist of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong to set the style.

Tips & Tricks from Kevin Hughes:

To create rough texture to your braids, apply Moroccanoil Texture Clay or Moroccanoil Molding Cream and pull pieces of the braid to make it look fuller, especially on fine hair. It will make the braid look a lot more impactful.
