“All haircuts tell a story and show the creativity of the artist,” says Evie Johnson, a Mizani educator who stresses the importance of precision haircutting in her classes around the country. “There are three primary shapes that come alive when combined to create that perfect look; square, round and triangle. I emphasize the importance of understanding these shapes and when to use them to the students I teach and the stylists I mentor.” To achieve these looks, Johnson used definitive
lines and angles, combined with the Mizani Thermasmooth line to smooth the models’ hair to best showcase the geometric silhouettes.
