Alexander Scott (@alexanderscotthair) of @bangseattle, Seattle, WA, says he has "been cutting my client's hair for about 5 years and her color had always been natural. After a career and life transformation, she was ready for an image transformation as well." 
Here Scott shares the details for the color makeover (after first cutting the hair):
Step 1: On natural level 4, apply Redken Flashlift (40g) with 30 volume (80ml) and Olaplex (1/16th oz) in foils to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair. Process for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Remove the foils and apply the same formula to the new growth for 45 minutes. Process to pale yellow.
Step 3: Apply Redken Shades EQ 20g 9nw 20g 9gi 40 ml processing solution to the new growth, and 40g 9gi 40ml processing solution from the mid-lengths to ends for 15 minutes. Rinse the color and apply Olaplex step 2 for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Shampoo, condition and style with Oribe products.
