CosmoProf artistic director and Instagram superstar Philip Ring, better known as @phildoeshair, battled cancer and beat it thanks to the professional beauty industry coming together to support him.

A proud member of the CosmoProf family—a family that is bringing the entire industry together to support City of Hope (COH) and its efforts to CURE cancer and other diseases—Ring calls on hairdressers everywhere to join the fight to find a cure.

“I personally know the difference a dollar can make, and hope makes all the difference in the world.”

Ring also congratulates Mark Spinks, president of CosmoProf, Armstrong McCall, Sally Beauty Holdings, who will be presented with City of Hope's 2017 Spirit of Life Award. Spinks, who has been an important contributor to COH, will receive the award at City of Hope's annual gala in Las Vegas during Cosmoprof North America.

The Spirit of Life Award is the most prestigious philanthropic honor they present annually to an industry leader who has demonstrated outstanding business and philanthropic achievement. Along with the great honor comes great responsibility, as honorees are tasked with creating a fundraising campaign that the professional industry can get behind and support.

Even a dollar can make a difference.

DONATE TODAY.
